LOGAN, OH | 03.15.25 | RISEUPOHIO.COM
WHERE WOMEN JOIN TOGETHER TO FIND ANSWERS AND FALL MORE IN LOVE WITH GOD.
About

About

Welcome to RiseUP 2025! We are thrilled to host an event where women can come together to laugh, unwind, and deepen their relationships—with one another and with God. This is a time to witness how our Heavenly Father continues to transform Southeastern Ohio through the empowerment of women rooted in His extraordinary grace.

RiseUP began in 2012, born from a calling to draw closer to God, grow in faith, and invite other women to join the journey. Since then, this annual gathering has flourished, bringing countless blessings and creating a space where lives are touched and renewed. Open to women of all backgrounds, RiseUP is a non-denominational and welcoming event that celebrates faith, grace, and community.

Come with open hearts, expectant spirits, and a readiness to experience the warmth of God’s love. Together, we’ll gather as a sisterhood of faith, strengthened and inspired to shine His light in our homes, communities, and beyond. We can’t wait to share this sacred time with you at RiseUP: A Christian Women’s Conference.

Lindsey Rebecca Ford

Meet our speaker.

Lindsey grew up traveling and singing with her family, an experience that shaped her passion for music and ministry. After serving as a worship leader for several years, she continued to use her voice and talents as a published author, songwriter, and speaker at women’s events. As a cancer survivor who navigates life with a chronic illness, Lindsey is deeply passionate about inspiring others to embrace the abundant life we've been promised, no matter the challenges we face. She is married to Chad, is the proud mother of Grace & Zane, and "bonus Mom" to Garrett.

Libbie Murr

Meet our speaker.

Libbie Murr is a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who has been serving alongside her husband, Joel, in ministry since 1992.

Since 2015, Libbie has served as the Director of Women’s Ministry at Grace Chapel in Sanford, NC. She is the visionary behind The Gathering, an event specifically designed to minister to the women of the church, which she has successfully led for six seasons. Out of The Gathering, she launched The Gathering Beyond, extending its mission beyond the walls of the church, and the Grace Gathered Podcast, a platform to inspire and connect women through meaningful conversations rooted in faith.

Libbie’s passion lies in encouraging, discipling and equipping women to grow deeper in their relationship with Christ and to walk confidently in their God-given purpose.

Joy Jones

Meet your worship leader.

Joy Jones is from Wheelersburg, Ohio and has been involved in ministry since her childhood days. Joy's family was involved with a full-time national ministry with her father preaching and the whole family singing. Joy actually was controlled by stage fright until into her late teens where she started stepping out and letting God use her voice. In 1997 Joy and her husband Tucker were taken on by the national group New Journey. During this time the group was a part of many national concerts along with being a part of the Gaither Homecoming videos and concerts. At this time Joy was voted "Favorite Female Soprano" by the Kentucky Gospel Music Association which was the group's home state.

Joy was offered other positions with other national groups along with her husband Tucker, but they both were focused on traveling together as a family. Joy decided to minister as a soloist and to involve her sons Ryan and Derec, as it was obvious from a young age that they were talented as well. As the boys grew into their teens, they formed a family trio that has flourished nationally. The group travels across the United States and Canada, and is honored to be a part of gospel music's largest yearly event (National Quartet Convention). Joy's passion is affecting people's lives for Christ, and is evident in her presentations of what God has done, and what He is still yet to do!
